Anatomy
The department has a well equipped dissection hall with facilities for embalming and taking cross sections. The Histology Laboratory contains 50 microscopes. Also there is facility to prepare histology slides. In addition, we also have two demonstration rooms with seating capacity of more than 50 students in each. The rooms are fitted with traditional green board and Over Head Projector (OHP).
The department library contains more than 100 books of different titles and a seating capacity of 20 students.
We have a wonderful anatomy museum. It contains more than 150 wet specimens and models. Embryology Section contains foetuses of different age groups and abnormal foetuses.
Laminated charts and description of each specimen are kept by its side. There are catalogues also for reference.
Staff are available from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Students are free to approach the staff at any time to clear their doubts.
