Applications are invited  for Anaesthesia Technician, Staff Nurse & Male Nursing Assistants

NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited for appointment to the following Para Medical posts in the Co-operative Medical College, Kochi.  Name of post and number of vacancies (within brackets), scale of pay and qualifications are given below.  The minimum age limit for all posts is 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2012, relaxable  by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates in the upper age limit.

  1. Anesthesia Technician (2) : Rs.9,190 – 15,780, Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology and one year experience in Anaesthesia in a 150 bedded hospital.
  2. Staff Nurse (20)   : Rs.9,190 – 15,780, (i) A pass in Plus Two /Pre-degree course /pass in VHSE or its equivalent  (ii) A pass in BSc Nursing of a recognized University or a pass in General Nursing & Midwifery Course having not less than 3 years duration from any institution recognized by Government (iii) Certificate of Registration with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council as Nurse and Midwife, in the case of woman candidates and as Nurse in the case of male candidates.
  3. Male Nursing Assistant (15) : Rs. 7,500 – 12,220,  Pass in SSLC + 3 year experience as Nursing Assistant in a 150 bedded hospital.

Duly filled application in the prescribed format giving all relevant details including date of birth, community, qualifications, experience etc. with attested copies of relevant documents in proof thereof and a registration fee of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- in case of SC/ST candidates) as Demand Draft in favour of the Medical Director, CMC payable at Ernakulam should reach the Medical Director, Co-operative Medical College, HMT Colony P.O., Kalamassery,  Kochi – 683 503 on or before 22.02.2012, 5PM .  SC/ST & OBC candidates claiming age relaxation / reservation benefits should also enclose the attested copy of a caste certificate / non creamy layer certificate, as the case may be applicable, obtained within the last six months from the competent revenue authority.  Selection process will comprise test and/or interview.  Late or incomplete applications and those without supporting documents will be summarily rejected.
