Clinical Postings
The bedside clinics in the hospital would be enabling the students to develop the basic skills to take detailed case history to recognize common symptoms and signs and to arrive at provisional diagnosis, which would eventually lead to case management. Emphasis would be placed on rational drug use and on, prevention and control of diseases as well. Maximum time would be spent on common health problems and their management, thereby enabling the practicing student to be a “basic doctor”.
