OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY
Department of obstetrics and gynecology comprises of a team of experienced and highly qualified doctors . The department is well equipped with all state of art modern equipments and facilities.
The department gets references from all peripheral hospitals from Ernakulam district and also from neighbouring districts.
We manage normal and complicated obstetric cases, complicated pregnancies such as placenta previa and high risk pregnancies along with management and treatment of gynecological conditions.
We also do specialised procedures like Abdominal hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy, vaginal compartment defects, emergency and elective laparotomy, Colposcopy, Histeroscopy, Cryocautery etc.

OP days functions daily with additional facilities for doing colposcopic examinations, IVCD insertions, vaginal cytology, post coital tests, and emergency ultrasound facilities.
Specialty Clinics
Function once a week high risk pregnancy, antenatal clinic, menopause clinic, infertility clinic, postnatal clinic, cancer detection clinic.
Wards
In addition to single room pay wards ,there are large airy general wards with total bed strength of 60
Labour room
Is well equipped with all modern fetal monitoring equipment and has the services of an obstetrician & pediatritian 24 hours of day
Labour room has an adjacent O.T& all the equipment needed for any emergency operations.
Operation theatre
Elective major& minor cases are carried out in the main O.T complex
Consultant doctors are available 24 hours on call.
