The Department of Neurology at our institution is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care of patients with disorders of the nervous system. Since its inception, the department has grown into a center of excellence, offering neurological services, both in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Our team is led by experienced and compassionate neurologists, supported by:

• 1 Associate Professor
• 1 Assistant Professor
• Junior Residents and skilled technical staff

This expert team works collaboratively to ensure evidence-based, patient-centered care.

🏥 Clinical Services

Outpatient clinics are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with over 40 patients evaluated per clinic day. We also handle emergency referrals and provide inpatient consultations.

🧪 Diagnostic & Therapeutic Services

We offer comprehensive diagnostic and interventional neurology services, including:

• EEG (Electroencephalogram)
• Nerve Conduction Studies & Electromyography (NCS/EMG)
• MRI and other imaging modalities
• Management of acute neurological emergencies like stroke and status epilepticus

📘 Academic & Training Programs

The department is actively involved in medical education and offers:

• Bedside teaching and clinics for MBBS and PG students
• Regular case discussions and journal clubs

• Establishing a dedicated Stroke Unit
• Starting a DM Neurology super-specialty course
• Setting up a Neurorehabilitation Center
• Enhancing neuroimaging capabilities in collaboration with Radiology
