Government Medical College Ernakulam

Government Medical College Ernakulam (GMCE) is one of the premier medical institutions in Kerala, known for its excellence in medical education, research, and healthcare. The college was initially governed by the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), an initiative of the Government of Kerala.

On December 17, 2013, the institution was formally taken over by the Government of Kerala and is now entirely managed under state administration. Admissions and academic operations follow the rules and regulations set by the government, ensuring a standardized and quality-driven approach to medical education.
