2. Associate Professor  :- Scale of pay Rs 37400-67000+Rs.9000 (AGP),MBBS,MD/MS in the respective subjects with 5 years experience as Assistant  Professor in recognized Medical Colleges
3. Assistant Professor  :- Scale of pay Rs15600-39100+Rs.7000 (AGP),MBBS,MD/MS in the respective subjects
4. Residents:- All departments, scale of pay Rs.15600-39100+5400(AGP)

• Dip NB holders can also apply
• Relaxation in experience will be considered for those with recent publication as first author  in indexed   Journals
• Upper age limit: 55 years for regular appointment as on the date of notification; 65 years for contract appointment.

Duly filled application in the prescribed format giving all relevant details including Date of Birth, Community ,Qualifications, Experience etc. with attested copies of relevant documents in proof  thereof,  should reach the Medical Director, Cochin Medical College , HMT  Colony P.O , Kalamassery, Kochi – 683503 on or before 10.05.2012, 5 PM.  SC/ST & OBC candidates claiming reservation benefits should also enclose the attested copy of a caste certificate/ non creamy layer certificate, as the case may be applicable, obtained within the last six months from competent revenue authority. MEDICAL DIRECTOR

This program is intended to reduce the gap between the academics and the expectation of a biomedical engineer from a hospital perspective. The program will give an idea about the working of a clinical engineering department in a hospital and give exposure to the medical equipment and various technical needs of a hospital

Program Details

Basically there will be informative sessions, hospital visit, hands on training and sample exercise.

• Date : 4th June 2012 to 9 th June, 2012
• Training Fee : Rs. 1,000/- per person.
• Last date of registration : 30st April 2012

Eligibility Criteria:

B Tech Biomedical students (4th Semester & above). Students should produce a certificate from their institution as proof upon selection.
Certificates would be given to each candidate after completion of the training and submission of the assignment.

Note: Those who have completed their B Tech course will not be eligible for the training program.
